5 Creative Ways to Share Baby Photos Safely
When I first heard my sister say, “Do not post pictures of my daughter on social media,” I was a bit taken aback. She made it crystal clear early on that no one was allowed to share photos of her baby online. At first, I didn’t really understand her reasoning, but I respected her wishes. Over time, though, I started to see her point. Social media, while fun and convenient, can also be a bit of a wild west. The more I thought about it, the more I realized how much control we give up when we post photos online. That’s when I decided—when I had a baby, I was going to do the same thing. You won’t see any pictures of my baby on social media, not even on my blog. I’ve taken it a step further by not even mentioning my child’s name online. It just feels safer to keep those details private.
